![]() GLEN DEVERON Located in the Speyside district of the Highlands region, the Glen Devron distillery was built in 1962. Used as a component for the William Lawson blends, taking its name and water from the River Devron, it is considered an easy to drink whisky. Malty, sweetish style. GLENFIDDICH Situated on a small river in the Speyside district of the Highlands region, Glenfiddich is the largest single malt seller worldwide. Established in 1886 it is still owned by the original family. Glenfiddich was the first distillery to offer bottled single malt for sale and not restrict it for blending purposes only. Fruity, dry aperitif. Once matured, suitable for after dinner. ![]() GLEN GRANT Situated in the Speyside district of the Highlands region, Glen Grant distillery was founded in 1840 by James and John Grant. Amongst the world's best selling whiskies and an important component to the Chivas Regal blend. Style herbally, hazelnut. ![]() THE GLENLIVET Situated in the Speyside district of the Highlands region, the Glenlivet lies in the most famous whisky-making glen in Scotland, once known for its illicit distillation activity until legalisation 1824. Style fruity, flowery. Aperitif. GLENTURRET Situated in the Midlands district of the Highlands region, on the banks of the River Turret near Creiff in Perthshire, Glenturret claims to be one of the oldest and smallest distilleries in Scotland. Records show whisky making in the area dating back to the 1700's. Style nutty, dry, flowery. Aperitif. |
GLENFARCLAS Situated in the Speyside district of the Highands region, Glenfarclas is independently owned by the Grant family, although no relation to any of the other Grant whisky makers. Well known amongst connoisseurs, it is considered to be one of the top malts from the Speyside region. Complex style, sherry, malty, ideal after dinner. GLEN GARIOCH Situated in the Eastern Highlands district of the Highlands region, the Glen Garioch distillery dates back to 1797 and faces the small town of Old Meldrum on the road to Aberdeen to Banf. Originally used as a contributor to Vat 69, its whiskies are traditionaly peaty. Style light, flowery, peaty. ![]() GLENKINCHIE Situated in the Eastern Lowlands district of the Lowlands region, not far from the village of Pencaitlands, Glenkinchie was founded in the 1820's. 1988 / 89 saw the launch of the single malt as part of the classic malts range. Used largely in the blending of Haig whiskies. Style flowery, complexity of flavours, dry finish. ![]() GLENMORANGIE Located in the Northern Highlands of the Highlands region, Glenmorangie is the biggest selling malt whisky in Scotland and dates back to 1843. A larger range of aged versions have become available over the past 10 years. Famous for its delicacy and aromatic character. GLEN ORD Situated in the Northern Highlands of the Highlands region, Glen Ord was established in 1838. Used traditionally as an important component to the Dewar's blends. Style spicy, malty, flavourful. ideal after dinner. |
