The Monadhlaith Mountains to the one side and the Forest of Atholl, the Grampians and the Cairngorms on the other side. Traditionally Dalwhinnie has been used as a component for the Buchanan blends. Light peat with grassy and heather honey tones, an ideal aperitif. ![]() THE DALMORE Situated in the Northern Highlands of the Highlands region, the Dalmore distillery was founded in 1839 and was once owned by the distinguished MacKenzie family. Rich, orangey flavour, ideal after dinner. |
![]() DUFFTOWN Situated in the Speyside district of the Highlands region, Dufftown distillery was originally built in 1817 by the Earl of Fife, James Duff at the confluence of the Dullan and Fiddich rivers. It is one of seven malt distillers in the town. An aromatic highland malt whisky. Good aperitif. |
